Diversity is everything about a human that makes them who they are. It is the visible and invisible characteristics, values, beliefs, worldviews, and personal experiences that make individuals unique. These include age, culture, education, ethnicity, Indigeneity, language, race, religion, abilities, mental health, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, political orientation, family status, and any other identifier a person may hold. Diversity, is what makes us special and interesting.
